And if it’s not our listing, we make sure to pull a copy of the Septic Permit and make sure that the home you’re interested in buying has the septic permit to match what you’re about to purchase. If you choose to purchase a home that is marketed as a 3 bedroom, but only has a permit for 2 bedrooms that is certainly your choice. However, just know that according to the NC Real Estate Commission, we can only market it as a 2 bedroom home with an extra office or craft room.
